I began my journey by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Western Kentucky University in 2012. During my time at WKU, I was an athlete competing in football and track & field. I became an International Sports Science Association (ISSA) Certified Personal Trainer in 2009. Studying Exercise Science at Western Kentucky University, I gained the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized exercise prescriptions to a variety of people and special needs. I learned how to strategically design exercise programs for athletes at all levels and individuals of all ages.

My professional ambition is to contribute to the health and well-being of others. I am a dedicated personal trainer willing to inspire and provide encouragement to individuals to reach their short and long-term goals. I understand how busy today’s society has become, that is why I will personally guide you to become efficient and safe while working out; earning optimal results in a condensed amount of time.
My workouts will fluctuate with intensities depending on the phase of training you are going through. I will be in confrontational and in your personal space when you need that motivation to push and challenge you. At times, I will step back, take notes, and watch you do your best, demolishing your own fears and mental barriers.

We will work together as a unit to be productive, consistent, and maintain great work ethic. I whole-heartedly believe I will help you succeed, reach, and then maintain your optimal goals. Join me and earn the healthy lifestyle and body you deserve. I believe anything is possible within reason. It all comes down to “How bad do you really want it?”

At six years old I began playing baseball, I never thought this would give me interests in the world of health and fitness later in my life. I played baseball for 10 years, played tennis through Jr. and Sr. high school, and practiced with my sister’s track and cross-country team for many years. I can't tell you how many times I said "I hate running," in which all of the listed activities above were surrounded by. During my sophomore year of high school, I began going to the weight room with some football buddies. Being tall and lanky, and known as the "tennis player," it was intimidating working out with the football players. This is when I met Ryan Schrink. He was New Albany High School’s strength and conditioning coach. Through time I got to know Ryan and we worked out together for a couple years, leading me to be very interested within the field of health and fitness. This drove me to want to learn more about the body, and how movement and exercise could change physical appearance and health.

In 2013, I obtained my Bachelors of Science Degree in Health and Human Performance with a focus in Exercise Physiology from the University of Louisville. Soon after graduating in May, I also became a Certified Personal Trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine. (ACSM) 

With the knowledge I have learned in my studies, and the information and training you will receive, I want you to know that a healthier and more-fit "You" is very attainable. I will work with you to reach the health and fitness goals that you want. I will be there to motivate you when most needed. I will push your limitations to the next level. Together, I want to help you reach your goals. Once reached, I want you to strive for higher and greater goals. Programs will be designed based on gender, age, ability, and goals. I will prescribe what is best suitable to help you reach each and every goal.

My personal motto/quote is "Lift it, Live it, Love it!"
